There is a first for everything... February 22, 2010

I Remember When I...

Started school for the very first time...

Got a brand new lunch box...

Met and played with new friends...

Got my first bicycle...

Learned to play the flute...

Played in the school band...

Went to my first prom...

Went to the hair salon for the first time...

Had my first date...

Met my first boyfriend...

Passed my driver’s test and got my license to drive and said watch out world here I come...

Got my first good paying job (well at least I thought so back then)...

Owned my first car (Chevy... so proud of that car)... loved cruising around town in my car with the radio blasting and hanging with my pips...

Graduated high school...

Became a dental assistant...

Meant my future husband...

Got engaged...

Walked down the aisle with my Dad at my wedding...

Moved into my first apartment (fully furnished) as a married woman...

Moved from Las Vegas to New England, starting my (our) new life as a married couple...

Meant my husband’s entire family for the first time (family is huge and mine is so small)...

Experienced my first snow storm in New England...

Became a mother for the very first time...

Lost my first close family member and remembering how hard that was...

We bought our home (the first and only)...

Saw my grandson for the very first time...

Heard the words "love you" for the very first time from my grandkids... melted my heart...

Opened my shop and studio in Sept.1988 and conducted my very first painting class...

Received my CDA (Certified Decorative Painting) award at the St. Louis convention...

Taught at my very first national convention...

Started my pattern packet line...

Had a booth of my own, selling my pattern packets and wood (how proud I was)...

When my designs were first published in the Paintworks magazines (amazing)...

Began travel teaching both nationally and internationally (so rewarding)...

Now I am proud to announce the release of my brand new website HeavenlyHeartCreations.com and my very first blog entry...

I am so excited to get to know each and everyone one of you. Hopefully I will get to know your firsts and we will continue on with this journey.
